Wanaka-House has the best accommodation deal for you during winter.
All Houses are fully furnished and have great facilitiesincluded in our pack price is power, gas, firewood, water and internet and Laundry
Accommodation is room share, usually two people per room. We can also arrange a room/house to suit larger groups.
Houses
Generally accommodate from 6 to 8 people, some times more for large groups.
large ski groups may come in numbers of 10 or more, we are happy to split your group in to two houses or we could find a larger house for your group.
Nearly all houses will have a fire place, we supply the wood if you require extra heating we can supply that too but this may incur an extra cost.

Living room
TV, Video, DVD, Stereo, Computer, Telephone, DVD/Video Snowboard Collection, Fire place. Sit in front of the fire place relax after a hard day on the mountain.

Kitchen
Fully equipped kitchen, usually with microwave and always with a rice cooker, stove, toaster and a lot more, this year our rice cookers are specially ordered from Japan for the 2008 season as well you get the usual pots pans, plates, cutlery, kettle, of course a big fridge and more.

Rooms
Rooms are generally only two per room, We provide all linen (blankets duvets towels etc) we try and avoid bunks and usually use single beds, unlike backpackers where there can be up to eight people in one room, we put only two people in a room and only more if it is a group or your request. Ladies only room is also available on request, sorry guys, but hey the houses are mixed so you can still enjoy. If you have a special request about your accommodation please let us know when you make your booking.

Bathroom
Shower (some also with bathtub) hair dryers and towels.

Laundry
Laundry is free!
We have washing machines and dry racks to dry your
clothes and ski/snowboard gear. |
Tuning facilities
Tuning table and iron, bring your own wax and scrapers.

Heating
Most houses have a fire
place, we can also supply a gas heater for your
room but the gas would be the responsibility of
the user/s, sorry! Due to that in the past they
have been left on all day while skiing/boarding
not only is this a waste its very dangerous. So
please turn off the gas if you use it, to save your
own expense and for the safety of everyone
including yourself. |
