Recently the SNOW PARK has become very popular among skiers, snowboarders, photographers, and film makers for its famous and world`s first all mountain terrain park. Wanaka is definitely the place to be if you want action and ski fields fill of top class items. The SNOW PARK have over 20 rails, 2 half pipes, a quarter pipe, at least 6 kickers, and a BURTON MONSTER KICKER for the pros to send their ass flying! Warning if you are not a pro don`t dear take this jump, if you do, well, we might have to pay you another $100. But speak to wanaka-house and the Snow Park first! Accidents can be crucial Wanaka-house and the Snow Park can not take responsibly. CARDRONA also has a great terrain park with up to four half pipes, a variety of small medium and large rails and kickers, a boarder cross course, good free riding and back country runs. CARDRONA and the SNOW PARK also host many events and competitions such as the NZ BURTON OPEN, slope style, rail jams and the famous VOLCOM PEANUTS BUTTER RAIL JAM. All wanaka-house customers that enter either the NZ BURTON OPEN or the VOLCOM PEANUTS BUTTER RAIL JAM will receive volcom goods +$100 at Wanaka-house BBQ and party! in late September.

Houses generally accommodate from 6 to 8 people, if you have a large group let us know we might be able to give you your own house. Nearly all houses have a fire place, we supply the wood as well as power, water, gas, and all our great facilities.

Rooms are generally only two per room, We provide all linen (blankets duvets towels etc) we try to avoid bunks and use single beds, unlike backpackers where there can be up to eight people in one room, we put only two people in a room and only more if it’s a group or your request. Ladies only room is also available on request, sorry guys, but hey the houses are mixed so you can still enjoy. 

Facilities computer with free Internet, free laundry, fully equipped kitchen, with microwave  rice cooker, toaster, stove and a lot more, tuning facilities (table and iron) bring your own wax and scrapers. DVD, video, and music . Bring your own music collection too!

Transport (rental car) is Included in our price, and is to be shared among the people either in your group or in your house generally one to two cars per house these are either a Station wagon 4WD or sedan we have chains and roof racks if needed insurance is also included. Sharing reduces the fuel you use so divide the fuel by all people sharing the vehicle.  if you are not confident with driving let us know when you make your booking so we can arrange your stay with confident drivers.

Airport pick up service we can pick you up from the airport on arrival free of charge. This service is free limited to our early bird bookings and is on weekends.
