Us More
New Zealand's spectacularly beautiful landscape includes
vast mountain chains, steaming volcanoes, sweeping coastlines,
deeply indented fiords and lush rainforests. Comparable
in size to Japan, New Zealand has a population of only
3.8 million - making it one of the world's least crowded
countries. It is a haven for those seeking peace, rejuvenation
and relaxation as well as a playground for thrill seekers
and adventurers. A temperate climate with relatively small
seasonal variation makes it an ideal year-round holiday
destination. |

Our History
While New Zealand is a relatively young
country, it has a rich and fascinating history, reflecting
both our Maori and European heritage. Amazing Maori historic
sites and taonga (treasures), some dating back almost
a thousand years, are a contrast to many beautiful colonial
buildings. A walk around any New Zealand city today shows
what a culturally diverse and fascinating country we have
become. |
Getting To New Zealand
New Zealand is a two and a half hour flight from Eastern
Australia. From the West Coast of the United States, a
direct flight to New Zealand takes around 12 hours and
from Japan direct flights take around 11 hours. |
